This is a train-the-teacher session, where PYD staff demonstrate a training that we have run with our volunteer mentors.
In this recording, PYD staff break down the roles of a mentor, best practices for working with parents, communication tips, and setting boundaries/expectations with parents. The facilitator also reviews how to rethink ādifficult parents,ā and discusses tips for managing conflict. The session includes interactive scenarios.
